October is the month of “Divtober”, where artists are challenged to draw different things using CSS and a single HTML element. Each day they get a theme to work with. You can find some nice works on CodePen, all tagged #divtober.

As you can see it’s a lot of trial and error, something I wouldn’t have the patience for. I’ll just stick to looking at those works of art 😉

The bestest [sic] masterpiece I’ve seen so far is this one by Bruce Lawson: a red square.
If there's interest, I'm thinking of livestreaming how I make a green square using Pure CSS tomorrow. Next week, I plan to surpass known colours with their limiting "names" and go for the weird hashtag ones. It's been quite a journey, so thank you, #pureCss friends.
